Sunrise Nursery

At Sunrise Nursery we strive to create warm and long lasting relationships with our parents.  We welcome feedback and always have time for a chat!  Here is what some parents say about us...

"Recently the National Trust published a list of 50 things to do before you're 11.  My daughter is only 3 and I'm pleased to say she has done 10 of these things already at Sunrise!"

"My twins Emily and Harry (now aged 8) have been going to Sunrise since they were 3 months old.  The care and encouragement they have received during this time has undoubtedly had an effect on their personal and social skills.  There is a "firm but fair" attitude throughout organisation, and the children are encouraged to face any difficulties head on.  The staff are always friendly, helpful and accommodating - especially when I forget to book a slot during the holiday period!  My two certainly think Sunrise is a fun place to be!"

"Both my children have been cared for in an environment that has let them grow and develop their confidence and social skills, where I could leave them every day knowing they were well cared for, well fed and most importantly where they were happy.  My boys have grown and now thoroughly enjoy the holiday and after-school club.  It's far more than a nursery its an important part of our lives providing a service that is personal, friendly, understanding, flexible and caring."

"The After School Club is a 'home from home' and offers a structured but fun way for my child to spend time on a range of indoor and outdoor activities.  My child was a little reticent to go to an After School Club but the quiet persistence, patience and distraction techniques employed by Fran and her team allowed him to settle down eventually and enjoy himself."

"Sunrise Nursery is home from home for my sons, they have both been there since they were babies and I would recommend it to anyone.  Fran is always on hand to answer any questions and all the staff are so friendly."

"I have found the nursery staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.  My baby boy settled in very quickly and is very happy and content.  I could not imagine taking him anywhere else and could not be more happy with my choice."

"The range of activites on offer is incredible - so creative and inspiring.  The classic example is the whole bag of stuff we get at Christmas - all made crafts by the kids.  Recently, Fran has brought in 2 really fun football coaches and my little girl loves it.  Both kids have been richly rewarded by their experience there and have started school with a huge advantage over other kids - both socially and mentally."

"We absolutely love that this nursery is all inclusive.  As a busy working mum, I haven't had to think of a thing when dropping the kids off, knowing they will provide everything.  This is a contrast to preschool.  When I say everything, I mean it - suncream, hats, wellies, nappies, blankets and the food!  The cooked meals are so yummy.  I am so jealous and its great to hear my girl saying how much she likes 'curry and poppadoms!"

"I want to thank the staff for really loving my children.  On the rare occasions when they have been sick, its been the loving staff that have been there with the kids.  It is only when you have this absolute friendship and trust that you can leave your kids in somebody else's care.  Many of the staff are friends now and will continue to be so."

"I could write pages on how brilliant Sunrise is!  Our daughter started Sunrise Nursery in Baby Toddlers and went onto Toddlers, Pre School and now attends the After School Club. She has special needs and Sunrise did everything possible to assist and encourage her in all activities and prepare her for school.  Our daughter absolutely loves spending time at sunrise and enjoys all the activities, indoor and especially outdoors. The forest days are brilliant. The staff at Sunrise keep you fully informed of everything that they do and give you the upmost confidence that they care for your child."

"Choosing a nursery for my one year old son was one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make! I have always felt confident and assured that not only was he in a safe environment, but a loving one, with people who truly cared about his happiness and well-being. I knew I had made the right choice when I realised that, whilst I suffered with the usual parental guilt, I never once questioned whether he would be well cared for and safe.  He is now two and a half and still attending Sunrise and is a happy, confident, delightful little chap that can't wait to walk through those doors in the morning. I dread the day we have to say "Goodbye" to some wonderful people and cannot say "Thank You" enough times!"
